About Me

Hey I’m Jason. I was born in Da Nang, Vietnam and was adopted at the age of 9 months. Since then, I’ve lived in the US. I’m from Waverly, Pennsylvania, which is about 20 minutes outside of Scranton. I went to Abington Heights High School.

I enjoy traveling, hiking, playing video games, and learning foreign languages. I intend on majoring in French and Linguistics and minoring in German. I’ve traveled to Costa Rica and embarked on a 20 mile hike through the jungle. I’ve studied German for 4 years, French for 2 years, and Russian for 1 year. I hope to travel across Europe and Southeast Asia to learn their languages, explore their cultures, and, of course, try their food.

This blog designed to express my opinions about communication between people and other people, people and the world, and other important topics. Personally, I don’t affiliate with political parties, and I just side with whichever opinion is the most practical.

I also plan to discuss the methods and effects of rhetoric on everyday life of people and how they communicate. My RCL class consists of prompts related to human communication and modern day topics concerning civic life. Speeches and other similar presentations.

Finally, my passion posts will consist of linguistic topics that I find interesting. These topics span across multiple languages ranging from Romance languages to the Balto-Slavic languages.

Enjoy!
