As we approach a new school year and fall semester, we’d like to take a look back at what the lab has been up to since the spring.
First off, we have a new graduate! We’d like to say the BIGGEST congratulations to senior Jasmin Modricker for not only graduating but also landing a job at within the Jansen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a cell therapy associate scientist! She will be continuing her work there with iPSCs that she began as an intern during the summer of 2022. Jasmin has been a joy to teach and work with in the lab and her smile and upbeat energy will be missed, but we are so so so proud of her!
Secondly, we’d like to congratulate Adriana Blanco Diaz on all her hard work over the summer and her participation in the 2023 OGEEP Scholars Symposium. Adriana has been studying cell attachment, proliferation, and migration on gelatin methacrylate constructs, and she has rapidly become an excellent researcher. We are very excited to see what Adriana will achieve in the fall!
