Rex Orange County: My favorite Brit
Rex Orange County aka Alexander O’Connor is a 22-year-old British musician. His name is a play on his high school nickname the OC after his last name. He is also a big simp most of his music is about his girlfriend. He is very chill and wholesome overall great man. His voice and music is overall soothing and mellow. Although his sound is not very versatile, he can be.

1.Pony: This album gave me everything I needed, love songs, sad, happy songs. Rex did not miss at all and I could really hear his improvement with this album. He is truly happy in this album and it shows.
2. Apricot Princess: This album was one of my favorite albums of all time. I made some of my best memories so far with this album and it basically summarizes my high school experience.
3: Bcos u will never be free: Although I can give him accolades since he self-produced the album when he was 16, it simply does not compare to his latest works. Honestly the album is okay it does have skips though.
I think it’s crazy that he self produced an album when he was just sixteen! When I was sixteen, I had accomplished absolutely nothing significant or memorable. My younger sister is really into his music, so I think I have heard a lot of these songs when I was at home.
I’ve heard a lot about Rex OC over the last couple years but never really given it a try. It definitely hits a very specific audience and is very effective at capturing attention. The music is different in a good way and opposes the pop takeover of modern culture.
I have only ever heard a few songs from Rex Orange County but I admire the unique sound of his voice, and enjoy listening to his music. I can’t believe he wrote his first song at just fifteen! It is incredible to learn about people so talented, and I love reading your blogs. My taste in music is slowly getting more broad as I read each of your posts, I really enjoy them!!
