Great visual research, it is so important to tell a story with your research so the entire creative team is able to see the vision before the set is designed and you have done a good job at showing that.
Hi, I’m Wendy Dann, I’m a freelance director and I teach directing at Ithaca College. I’m loving the research on the sewers and the conference room…really drawn toward the idea of moving sludge on stage…and glass and steel above…
Hello!
Wanted to commend you on your application of these research images to your draftings and elevations! I can clearly see how the shapes, colors, and textures from these images influenced the final product.
Great Work!
Particularly taken by the tunnels and the cavernous sense of muck. So, too, I appreciate the cheerless, colorless sense of industrialism in the conference rooms.
Katie,
I always love seeing how people approach a script visually. Strong research lends itself to strong final results. You paint a very clear, and dynamic picture with these images–letting the viewer know how you plan to handle both the corporate and revolutionary script requirements.
Awesome work, I am excited to see (as I flip through your galleries) how this translates to your final renderings.
I think URINETOWN is a show that is very timely in our current political climate, so I love the contemporary research into the piece.

Very clear research. Love the tunnel images …. I appreciate that the research is edited down and the colors and textures are telling the same story.
