Intro
My name is Kerry Clancy. I am in the MEd for LDT. This is my last semester of coursework. I work for World Campus, helping to develop their New Student Orientation programs. The current projects we have in process are Graduate Student Orientation, Military Student Orientation, Continuing Student Orientation, and Student Ambassador curriculum. Last semester, I developed a revised version of “Tech Camp”, which is a Canvas course dedicated to coaching new online students through the programs, equipment, and software that they will need to know in order to be successful online students.

Internet Experience
Currently, working for World Campus, all of our work is done entirely online. We communicate with our students through multiple pathways (Canvas, LionPath, StarFish, World Campus Student Portal, etc.) I am also the Webmaster for State College Community Theatre. I run their WordPress-based website as well as their various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). I also use the internet as my main source of news as well as information ranging from recipes and craft ideas (usually from Pinterest) as well as comics and fandom posts (usually from Tumblr). I also have experience with HTML coding and have taught various aspects of Google for Classrooms at local conferences in New York.

Personal 

Most of my spare time is spent doing work with State College Community Theatre. This is my second year on the Board of Directors and second year as Treasurer. I also coach free, non-alcoholic Paint & Sips for White Course Community Association. I am very much into crafting and I am always looking to try new craft ideas. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, particularly anything with lots of cheese and pasta! I devour puzzles (only 1000 pieces or higher!) I also spend time with my two puppers: Kate (4 year old Springer Spaniel) and Holly (6 year old Red Tick Hound).

I am currently looking at improving my academic writing. I will be submitting to a journal and a conference this year to get some more feedback on my writing. I am also looking to improve my living situation. My partner and I are constantly doing work on our house, including, but not limited to, making it more heat efficient, updating appliances, and repainting a couple rooms. We are looking at other houses in the surrounding towns as our current house does not have enough space for the family size we are predicting. However, we are looking at either renting out or selling our current house so the updates are still necessary!

I have never considered myself particularly talented in any area or subject. I have always thought of myself as perfectly average in many things. However, I have been told I am a lovely singer, quite creative when it comes to artwork, and have a good memory.
