Chernow’s biography of one of the controversial founding fathers, whose achievements included being the first Secretary of the Treasury, co-author of The Federalist Papers, and member of the Constitutional Convention. The biography was adapted into a musical, Hamilton, by Lin-Manuel Miranda, which opened on Broadway in August 2015.
