Adventuring in the Summer

Welcome back to my Adventuring Passion Blog! To conclude this series, I want to describe my summer plans in terms of my adventuring. Many of my summer plans are still up in the air, given the fact that we are still somewhat in a pandemic (hopefully not for much longer?), but typing out these plans will provide a sense of accountability for myself to get out and experience new adventures this summer.

SeattleWashington:

  • One possibility for this summer is traveling to Seattle, WA, to visit my dorm neighbor. The two kids next door on my dorm floor are from Chile and Seattle, and the friend from Seattle invited us to come visit at some point. We would ride around the city on his electric scooters, exploring and taking cool photos.Seattle, Washington: Culture, Coffee and Nature Vacation

Miami, Florida:

  • Another idea my friends and I have are to travel to Miami in late July for the Rolling Loud music festival. I have no idea where the country will be with the pandemic at that point, but it would be a great celebration of the end of COVID-19 if everyone can get vaccinated by that point. Flights to Florida from Philadelphia aren’t too expensive, either, so this plan could actually happen.

Maine:

  • I am most likely going to Maine in early August with my friend Dylan, who went to my high school but also goes to Penn State. He has a house just inland from Acadia National Park, and I can only imagine how beautiful it is. I traveled to Maine 3 years ago with my family and loved every minute of the trip. I would love to go back, so I’m very excited for this trip.

Jersey Shore:

  • My friends from high school and I just booked a weeklong AirBnB in Wildwood, NJ, for the week before going back to college. I am super excited for this because it’ll be a great way to reconnect with my home friends and create fun summer memories that I can remember forever.

The rest of summer is TBD but if more COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, I hope to be home as little as possible. I will never take the freedom of not living in a pandemic for granted ever again!

It’s sad to think that this will be my last entry. While I won’t be adding any more blog posts, I will continue this style of documenting my adventures throughout the rest of my life. I always like to take pictures, and organize them when I get home in albums, sometimes even printing the images out. I hope at least one of my blog entries have inspired you to adventure and see all that this beautiful world has to offer.
