The Doctors Kienle Center for Medicine invites you to attend the showing of FaceAge, October 5th through the 10, 2018 at the Simulation Center, Bay C. on the second-floor above the Harrel Health Sciences Library. FaceAge, created by Professor Andrew Belser, a 2017-18 Penn State Laureate, is an award-winning multi-media installation created from filmed cross-generational encounters.
The installation places audiences within a synchronized, three-screen surround where younger (18-22) and older (70+) participants are seen studying and describing one another’s faces. A 56-minute loop of moving and still imagery weaves together interconnected chapters in which young adults and aging individuals reflect on life. FaceAge attempts to challenge perceptions, foster introspection, and build acceptance, awareness and cross-generational connections.
Available for viewing by Penn State Health and College of Medicine faculty, students and staff with ID badge:

Viewing hours for the general public are October 8 and 9, 2018 • 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and October 10, 2018 • 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.. This event is free and open to the public. No preregistration required.
