Sara Terry is a documentary photographer and filmmaker, and a Guggenheim Fellow in Photography, who began The Aftermath Project while working on her first post-conflict photography project, “Aftermath: Bosnia’s Long Road to Peace”. (Untitled Exhibition) Paintings by Inka Essenhigh (Abstracted Narrative Paintings) Mythology, landscape and the urban versus pastoral are recurring motifs in her work, although Essenhigh does not limit herself by subject. She has blended abstraction and figuration in an investigation of psychological and metaphysical realities.
