This week’s episode of The Bachelor in Paradise started off with everyone settling back into paradise after the girls and new guys came back from their week away. Victoria was still deciding between Johnny and Alex, but she ends up choosing Johnny. The other couples are Brandon and Serene, Michael and Danielle, Rodney and Eliza, Aaron and Genevieve, Jessenia and Andrew, Brittany and Tyler, Kate and Logan, Shanae and Jacob, and Florence and Alex.

The next day, Victoria and Johnny get to go on a date and it’s really cute. They talk about their worries about the relationship, tell each other they’re falling in love, and seem to really get closer. I like them together a lot, and I feel like Johnny seems so different and happier with her.

While they’re away, Justin comes back to the beach just to shoot his shot with Eliza who’s pretty serious about Rodney. Justin asks Eliza on a date, and Eliza ends up agreeing to go when Rodney doesn’t tell her not to. She’s upset because she wanted Rodney to say he didn’t want her to go on the date when she talked to him about it, but he never does. She feels like he didn’t fight for her as much as he should, so she’s happy to feel wanted by Justin and ends up enjoying their date and kissing him. Rodney’s really upset about possibly losing Eliza, but I kind of get what she’s saying because she just wants to feel wanted. Still, I feel like it was just a miscommunication cause he’s clearly crazy about her, and I hope they end up fixing things.

Are Eliza & Justin Together After 'Bachelor In Paradise'?

One more couple starts to break down when Hayden from Gabby and Rachel’s season comes down to the beach and asks Kate (who’s with Logan) on a date. She agrees to go and, just like Eliza, gets upset that Logan didn’t tell her not to go, but he’s upset that she didn’t say no when she was asked. I feel like I’m siding with Logan on this one because it’s unfair for her to be mad that he didn’t fight for her if she didn’t do the same. The date doesn’t even end up going well because Hayden is awful, disrespectful to women, and only talks about his dog.

Some more men come down to the beach– Joey and Justin, the twins who were sent home night one of Gabby and Rachel’s season. They take Shanae and Florence on a double date and spend the afternoon playing cantina games. There’s a lot of jokes made about them being young (they’re 23) and weird twins, but they seem sweet and end up having good connections with Florence and Shanae.

The last bit of drama (well a lot more than a bit) comes when Genevieve and Aaron get into a huge fight. They had gotten in a smaller one earlier because Genevieve was making it sound like they’re only together cause things didn’t work out with Justin which made Aaron feel like a second choice, but this fight’s a lot worse. It starts with Genevieve saying that Aaron didn’t spend enough time with her all day and acting like it was a bros trip. He gets upset because he feels like Genevieve keeps making issues out of nothing and she could’ve easily pulled him to spend more time with her.

Bachelor in Paradise': Here's What Leads to Genevieve and Aaron's Upcoming Fight (Exclusive) | Entertainment Tonight

I honestly get both sides but then it just blows up out of proportion and gets a little toxic. They end up screaming at each other and Genevieve packs her bags and almost leaves. It takes the girls talking Genevieve down, the guys giving Aaron advice, and a final conversation where they tell each other they’re falling in love with each other to resolve the fight. They’re cute overall, but if they’re fighting this much already, there’s no way they’ll stay together if they somehow leave paradise together.

Next week, it’ll be time to see which of these couples are really serious about each other.
