Electrochemistry for sustainable technology

Our research is motivated by the need for sustainable technology development for our modern society. The primary focus of our research lies in understanding and developing electrochemical processes to meet these needs.
Electrochemical methods are critical in the evolution of a technology-driven society, and furthermore, electrochemical systems offer a key to understanding fundamental thermodynamic and kinetic properties of materials and interfaces used to develop these technologies. Thus, our research interests embrace the development of environment-friendly electrochemical processes for resource extraction/recycling, the development of corrosion-resistant materials, and energy storage systems.
