title. Or is that, as an influential political figure and feminist once said, just what we call a “woman in music if she achieves success or power beyond people’s comfort level?”

You know the top hits on the radio and the image portrayed in the media, but I’m here to introduce you to the woman behind the microphone. We don’t always hear the full story of female celebrities beyond that of their love life and physical appearance. Therefore, my goal is to encourage people to look further into the personalities and passions behind these “cover girls,” starting with Taylor Swift.
