Hello and welcome to my RCL blog! My name is Kylie Doran and I am a freshman here at Penn State. I hope to study cultural anthropology/linguistics/international politics (not really sure yet!). I love to travel and learn about other cultures and languages as well as current events. My goal in life is to learn as much about the world as I can and to use this knowledge to help others (as cheesy as that may sound). Additionally, I love to spend time outside running, skiing, or just chilling and reading a book. However, I also spend a good amount of time napping (one of my favorite pastimes).

This blog was created for my “Rhetoric and Civic Life” class and it involves two separate threads. One of which consists of my responses to prompts related to the RCL class. The other is my “passion blog.” I plan on making my passion blog about different obscure cultures, religions, or languages from around the world (because I am a huge nerd who enjoys reading and writing about this anyway).
