Art-Set is a constructive art making app that allows the user to create, what I call, digital Art-E-Facts. Art-Set features a wide range of digital versions of media used by artists, such as oil paint, markers and colored pencils. Art-Set could be used in a collaborative art project in which students create a digital artefact and pass it on to a classmate through the device’s e-mail or messaging affordances to finish or add on to. Used in this way, Art-Set fits firmly inside Kearny’s framework for M-education that includes personalization, authenticity and collaboration.
