1. LionPATH has moved into a new phase.
It is now in the development and maintenance phase with functional home offices taking over support and process functions. For example, the Registrar’s Office is now responsible for answering questions and troubleshooting issues for any enrollment, class scheduling, grading, graduation, or students records issues, etc.
2. New Student User Interface
After receiving student input, University leaders requested that LionPATH develop an improved user interface for students. A small population of students (including World Campus, campus, graduate, undergraduates, and law students) are currently testing this new interface. Adobe Connect sessions were held for these students (and their advisors). Barring major issues, the new user interface will be released to all students the week following spring commencement. The New Student Orientation Office is aware of the details of the release of the new user interface. You can view the training material at the following website: http://sites.psu.edu/lionpathbetatest/help/
3. LionPATH Maintenance and Development Office (LDMO) Updates:
a. A webpage created to list current items under development can be found
at:
http://sites.psu.edu/lionpathbetatest/help/
b. More than 100 new enhancement requests are being reviewed and
prioritized by the steering committee.
c. The enhancement request form can be found at:
lionpathsupport/help/facultystaff/facultystaff-enhancement-request-form
d. Advisor batch assignment is coming in early May.
e. An update was made to the course catalog to only display one row per
course.
3. Query Documentation
a. Query documentation has been added to the online library at:
https://tutorials.lionpath.psu.edu/. We will be expanding documentation
with a priority on those most commonly used.
b. Query document is keyworded for better search abilities.
c. Query availability depends on your security access. If you don’t have
access to a query but need it to perform your job, contact your ASR to
submit a request on your behalf.
d. Once iTWO is rolled out, staff will be able to write queries themselves.
Individual application data is currently in iTWO; enrollment data will be
there shortly, and academic program data is expected to be added in
August.
Respectfully submitted,
