HI All,
Here are some updates on what is happening with LionPATH:
* The LDMO is now a background organization from the University point of view;
so functional offices should be the first point of contact!
* Continuing to roll out minor fixes and new functionality
* Billing for summer was final new function to roll out within LionPATH
* Schedule builder upgrade incorporated on May 10
* There has been a fix to Update Academics to prevent graduating students from
adding a minor
* Automatic prerequisite checking is a Registrar’s Office (OUR) function
– All problems that pertain to OUR subject matter should go to them. If OUR
discovers it’s a LP problem, they will forward to LP; OUR is first point of
contact
– Prerequisite checking only prevents students from initially registering; it does
not unenroll students if their academic record changes, such that they don’t
meet prereqs after enrolling.
* Mandatory health insurance activity guide has been rolled out
– Completion is not mandatory this year, but will be next year
– LionPATH is piloting the collection of information to assist UHS
* iTwo term enrollment data slated to roll out on June 12
– There will be year-over-year comparisons as we get all the dashboards rolled
out, beginning with fall 2016 data.
– In the future, staff will go to iTwo, not queries, for data
– Courses, grades, transfer credits will all be in iTwo; no timeline yet
– Authorized staff will be able to write queries in iTwo in the future; they need
to take iTwo query training; LP will be providing data training
– Access will not be provided for users to write queries directly against LP
data because it would bog system down
– Demos of new iTwo content will be coming soon
