BRAZILIAN POLITICS ANOTHER SWAMP TO BE DRAINED
Brazil is the biggest country in South America, rich in natural resources but robbed of its own freedom. A big part of Brazil’s natural and “National” treasures was sold by the corrupt government and now belongs to private and foreign owners. The people has been long suffering with the consequences of a failed leadership system. The current “leaders” represents the communist party but presents themselves as socialists, they openly make apology to leaders as Nicolas Maduro from Venezuela and praise his rotten model of leadership. The Brazilians are tired of such regime, and the country became divided into partisan. With all due respect to my fellow Brazilians who support our current government, the communism is more like an ideology that is mostly defended and supported by those who have no knowledge of the real impact that the country will suffer, if God forbids the regime communist goes through. They use socialism as a facade in order to deceive the less fortunate. The education is limited to the less fortunate, they know very well that if they keep the people without proper knowledge they will be able to keep on ruling at the cost of their ignorance. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”(Hosea 4:6, Bible). Fortunately Effective Leaders are being raised in my country, honored men that risks their own lives for the sake of their country. I would like to mention two of these men. The first one is the Judge Sergio Moro and the second one is the current candidate for the presidency of Brazil, a retired Army Captain and Senator Sr. Jair Bolsonaro. Those men are two vivid examples of effective leaders.
The privatization of brazil started in the 80’s reaching its peak in the 90’s, and now is being proposed again due to the irresponsibility of dirt politicians who are a disgrace to the country.
“Strapped Brazilian Governments Embrace Privatization” “Debt-ridden national and state authorities plan big selloffs of marginal assets to pay for basics like payroll”

The current government failed to protect the internal order not using the necessary means to stop the organized crime. Truth be told they formed an organized crime themselves and they manage to sell a big part of the country by privatization, they failed to provide the basic needs to the population but they live large with the stolen money. On top of that the government has the nerve to present themselves as socialists. A irrefutable proof of that was the impeached former “President” Dilma Rousseff, who pertain to “PT” which is the same party that still in the country’s command.
“Behind Brazil corruption crisis is a deeper socialist disaster”
Although former “President” Dilma Rousseff was impeached and former “President” Lula is incarcerated, all Brazilians knows that he still commands his party from the jail cell. That being said it is very important to take all the facts into consideration and analyze really careful his principles and his alliances. Back in 2013 he openly declared his support to Nicolas Maduro from Venezuela and now the whole world sees the results of misery and distress that the people from Venezuela are enduring. That alone should be more than enough for the people of Brazil who are pro “PT”( the left party), to reevaluate their concept and take a closer look at the Venezuela’s reality and decide if that’s the future they wish to have in Brazil.
“Ex Brazilian President Lula Supports Venezuela’s Maduro”
“One phrase that sums up everything I feel: Maduro as President; it’s the Venezuela that Chavez dreamed of,” Lula concluded.

I would affirm that Chavez dreams became the people’s nightmare!
Fortunately not everyone is corrupted and thankfully one courageous man named Sergio Moro, who is a very dear Judge and gained the respect of all the patriots of Brazil. He raised up fearless against those wolves and started dismantling the biggest criminal organization of the country “the government”.
“Brazil’s new hero is a nerdy judge who is tough on official corruption”
After Judge Sergio Moro started “cleaning the swamp”(President Trump’s phrase), another courageous man raised up and decided to run for the country’s presidency, Army Captain and Senator Jair Messias Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro was not elected in the first turn due to fraud, he is battling the second turn using social media. With no funds for his campaign, captive in his own house after almost dying due to an assassination attempt against him, he is currently using a colostomy bag and he is recovering well. With all the limitations that he is facing due to the assassination attempt, this situation became a personal matter to the Brazilians who wants to see the country free of its strongholds. The majority of the country is united promoting the biggest voluntary political campaign one will ever see.
“Brazil’s far-right gains power in Congress and confidence in Bolsonaro”

Judge Sergio Moro and Captain Jair Bolsonaro are both presenting themselves as Effective Leaders.
They were able to determine the country’s needs and designed a plan to take care of those needs. They motivated the people and are motivated by the people’s support and desire for a change. They maintain an effective communication with the people through the process. Even in times of conflicts both of them are risking their own lives and fighting against corruption. Now most of the country anxiously awaits for the positive output which would be the victory over the left party.
They were able to dream, design, and now the majority of my country hopes that they will be able to develop their plan, for the greater good.

Lesson 9: Team Leadership.
Paulo Rego says
Lilian as I was reading your blog, I couldn’t stop thinking that it exists a dark side of leadership which is unethical, destructive and toxic. Here, leaders use leadership for personal gain. Lipman-Blumen (2005) point that these dark side leaders leave their followers worst than they found them and characterize them as leaders with lack of integrity, insatiable ambition, arrogance and reckless disregard for their actions. It is amazing how this description fits perfectly in your home country’s governmental leadership. The country and it’s people are worst than when they took office, governmental officials are lavishly rich but not yet satisfied because they do not give up with their arrogant and reckless disregard for everything they have done, declaring their innocence even in jail with all the proof against them. The Brazilian destructive Government fooled everyone with their charisma to impose their narcissistic ideologies and personalize their power with negative life outcomes to the people of Brazil.
I have to point out Paddila, A., Hogan, R., & Kaiser, R. B. (2007) The Toxic Triangle. The destructive government leadership used their charisma to impose their narcissistic ideology and personalize their power with negative life outcomes to the Brazilian people. They also took advantage of the unstable environment in which the country was standing and the people’s lack of political culture or knowledge, as you mentioned “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”(Oseias 4:6, Bible), the immaturity and all the needs that the people had and have, and of course there is all the corrupt supporters with the same ambition and bad values as the so called leadership.
Brazil is surrounded by communist countries, I’m not sure if it is the last stronghold not communist in South America, but it is the biggest, richest and most powerful country in it. I can just imagine the behind the curtain manipulation that has been going on the last decade. Man like Moro and Bolsonaro have been lifted up with a honorable purpose and a hunger for justice that all the people from Brazil have been waiting and praying for. May God answer the prayers and cries by helping and give discernment for the people to choose wisely. God bless all Americas.
