What to expect
Your design challenge will begin 10:00am E.D.T. July 28 and will conclude with team pitches July 30 at 12:00pm. Prior to the challenge we will be shipping each participant unique prototyping kits to enable a hands-on design experience. You will work as a team to solve the mystery challenge (to be announced at the start of the program) and pitch your final solution to the judges. Our panel of judges will select winners based on creativity of design solutions, technical feasibility, and quality of pitch. Stay tuned for the full schedule of events!

What’s at stake
Compete to win rad prizes.
Iron Lion
The team with the best solution to the challenge will be crowned our Iron Lions. The winning team will receive a $100 gift card (each) and a pretty sweet trophy, plus some awesome Learning Factory swag.
Craziest Idea
The winning teams’ idea may not be physically possible given the constraints of modern science, but it is by far the most creative. This team will receive a 3D printing pen (each) to continue creating wild ideas.
Best Pitch
Communication is a critical part of engineering. The winning team will receive a $25 gift card (each) to Amazon.
