I am new to the design world, as of September when I first started taking this class. Since the beginning of this class I have learned how to code, both HTML and CSS, design websites using Adobe Illustrator, Muse, XD, Spark, and various other design software. At first, coding was extremely difficult and a little bit frustrating, however after countless hours of practice I realized the amazing world I was now welcomed into. Throughout the course, there were many opportunities to practice website designs for both mobile screens and desktops, each lesson, and each practice helped me learn skills that I incorporated into my final project. Learning how to use Adobe Muse, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe XD contributed to my successful final project, each software serving its own purpose for creating an interesting, easy to use, website.  Knowing how to code is an amazing skill I never would have thought I would have, a lot of opportunities have opened up for me with the design now one of my friends created, the work is endless however extremely gratifying.

Most of my projects produced have come from this class, Art203. We have created designs for websites, wireframes, produced HTML and CSS coded websites, and many other forms of design. I feel confident in my abilities as a designer, and see this as a future career. I am extremely interested in one-page design layouts, when doing research on them I found out how powerful and moving a one-page website can be. The very intricate ones seem as if they use illusion and extensive design techniques in order to achieve their effect. Designing apps and websites was never a skill I envisioned for myself, and now it is not a skill I can imagine myself without.
