The objective of this project is to create a model that can take in specific values and predict an estimated total cost of surgery. With this model, a GUI will be created for users so that they can pull up past saved surgeries and then compare data from those surgeries against each other. So algorithms will also be developed to satisfy the aim of this project. The data comparing will be analyzed by using the R language. A user-friendly dashboard will be created by using Qlik.

Project Summary
Overview
Time driven activity based dashboard is a project created by Penn State Hershey. There are two parts to this project. The first part is to create a model that can take in specific values and predict an estimated total cost of surgery. The second part is to create a GUI for users so that they can pull up past saved surgeries and then compare data from those surgeries against each other.
Objectives
The objective of this project is to build a time-driven activity based dashboard which can compare two different surgeries. The system should be capable of comparing all kinds of surgeries. This system should also have the capability of showing the details of the surgeries, such as the cost of the implant, the cost of space and equipment, indirect costs, and so on. The interface of this system will be created in a clear way so that users can find what they want directly. It is supposed that we will create two interfaces, one for users and one for administrators. The model of this project will be created by using R language and the interface will be created by using Qlik. With the model and the GUI we have, users can get the result they need successfully.
Approach
-Participate in weekly advisor to get advise
-Meet with sponsor to get feedback
-Gather and sort the data from sponsor
-Develop a proper model for the data
-Design the GUI by using Qlik
Outcomes
– A model that can get total cost by using TDABC is successfully implemented. This model can be used by Penn State Hershey for computing the cost.
– Importing the data and analyzing all these data by using qlik. Showing the comparison between the total surgery cost calculated by the general method and the one calculated by Time Driven Activity Based Cost. Achieved automatic system to print out everything by clicking one or more specific patient ID.
