Project Summary

The corkscrew is an innovative hanger design to increase sustainability. It addresses concerns about financial sustainability by reducing the time to hang up clothes, saving the company $100,000 of thousands of dollars. They have removable arms that reduce size, making them easily transportable and recyclable. The arms can also be made out of bamboo, helping with environmental sustainability concerns. The corkscrew works by having a hook that can slide up and down, it has gear teeth on the bottom that rotate the arms of the hanger into an upright or downward position, making it easier and faster to hang up clothes.
