The Liberal Arts Collective (LAC) is an interdisciplinary group at Penn State promoting visionary scholarship in the humanities. We build community across different fields of study and highlight the ways that different disciplines inform and shape one another.
We seek to create a venue where graduates, undergraduates, professors, independent scholars, and professionals can collaborate and produce meaningful scholarship. In the past, we organized a workshop for academic publishing, the “Race in the Americas” and “Visualizing the Self in Flux” conferences, and the Unraveling the Anthropocene podcast, among other projects.
