The Fields of Gettysburg through the Eyes of Battlefield Surgeons
March 13, 6 p.m., in Room T2500, Cancer Institute, Penn State Hershey. Presentation held in conjunction with the George T. Harrell Health Sciences Library exhibit “Life and Limb: the Toll of the American Civil War.”
Barbara Sanders, an education specialist at the Gettysburg National Military Park, will explore the preparedness of the Medical Corps on both the North and South before and during the Civil War, focusing on the events of the Battle of Gettysburg.
