We are lucky in this area to have so many choices for fresh, locally-grown foods, and now is the time of year that the area farmers’ markets reopen! Below is the schedule for the upcoming openings:

March 30 – Old Gregg School Community Center market returns, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through May 4
April 27 – Bellefonte Farmers’ Market opens, Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon in the Gamble Mill parking lot
April 30 – State College Farmers’ Market on Locust Lane opens, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday
May 3 – State College Downtown Farmers’ Market on Locust Lane, Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
May 7 – Boalsburg Farmers’ Market moves outside to the Boalsburg Military Museum parking lot, Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (will be indoors at the Boalsburg Fire Hall through May 7)
May 11 – Millheim Farmers’ Market, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Pavilion
May 11 – North Atherton Farmers’ Market, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Home Depot parking lot
May 22 – Lemont Farmers’ Market will open with new hours from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Granary on Mt. Nittany Road
