Librarians and staff invited to spring PaLA workshop

Penn State librarians and staff are invited to attend the Juniata-Conemaugh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) annual spring workshop on Tuesday, May 14, at the Schlow Centre Region Library in State College.

Topics discussed will include the development of leadership skills in all levels of personnel, personal ownership of the library’s role in the future, and the creation of collaborative spaces for the community.

The workshop speaker is David Bendekovic, a lead instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Leadership Studies (PALS) and a past presenter at the 2012 PaLA Annual Conference. Bendekovic has more than 30 years experience presenting workshops throughout the United States.
