The CMS Development Team will be releasing a new version of the CMS, CQ5.6. Before the release, I will be reviewing some of the new changes that will be available.
Last week I looked at some of the new features available with Assets and the Digital Asset Manager. This week I will look at a new annotation feature available in the Author Environment.
When working on a page in Author in CQ 5.6, you have the ability to annotate many of the components. First, right click on the component and select Annotate.
A yellow sticky note will appear. You can add notes to remind you of work that still need completed or leave a note for a co-worker who is also editing the page.
