On-site access and reciprocal borrowing programs

By Barbara Coopey

University faculty, staff, and students traveling this summer and conducting research can obtain access to many libraries through Penn State Libraries’ participation in a number of reciprocal borrowing and on-site programs.

On-site access programs require Penn State identification. The reciprocal borrowing programs require authorized cards or forms in addition to Penn State identification. Users are responsible for returning checked out material to the lending library and for any fees or charges incurred.

An online form located at https://www.libraries.psu.edu/psul/secure/forms/access_forms/reciprocalborrowing.html makes it easy for users to request the required cards or forms. Once the online form is completed, the cards and forms will be sent through campus mail to the user.
