United Way Arts and Craft Sale on Dec. 3

Submitted by Amy Miller

Save the date: The United Way Fall Arts and Craft Sale is on Tuesday, December 3, from 11 a.m.–4 p.m., in the Mann Assembly Room.

As usual we are collecting all kinds of handmade crafts, including knit, crochet, needlework (embroidery, cross stitch, etc) , photography, woodworking, jewelry, and paintings. We are also collecting plants.

We also need supplies, so clean out those craft rooms and bring us your yarn, fabric, paints, needles and hooks, brushes, beads, stickers, stamps, clay, books, patterns — anything craft related and we will take it.

Once again we are pleased to announce that some of our wonderful library staff are making a quilt. Special thanks to Amber Hatch, Barbara Woods, Bonnie Osif, Cathy O’Connell, Lindsey Harter, Heather Benner, Jackie Esposito, Janelle Sigel, Kimlyn Patishnock, Laura Ax-Fultz, Linda Ferriss, Linda Musser, Lisa Harris, Sandy Confer, Susan Martin, and Susan Zullinger. We will be selling chances for the quilt (details coming soon).

Donations of finished arts and crafts or supplies can be given to Amy Miller (arm107) in 504 Paterno (ILL Borrowing) or 107 Pattee (Common Services) whichever is easier for you. I can accept things at both places.

Thanks in advance to all of you for your support of this great event. All proceeds benefit the Centre County United Way and its member agencies.
