Alessia Zanin-Yost, reference and instruction librarian and coordinator of library Instruction at Penn State Altoona, will be one of the keynote speakers at the 2015 National Conference “La biblioteca partecipata: collezioni, connessioni, comunità” (The engaged library: collections, connections, community) conference in Milan, Italy, in March. She will discuss the critical role academic libraries play in developing lifelong learning skills through the incorporation of information and visual literacy in the curriculum. While in Italy, Zanin-Yost will also guest lecture at both the University of Parma and the University of Florence.
