So what is a Solstice?  A solstice is a wireless presentation system that enables any number of users to connect simultaneously to a shared display over WiFi or Ethernet Network.

A user can connect via computer (PC or Mac), Android and iOS devices.  In Foster and Mann, you will see one of the new display options on the podium is Solstice.  When Solstice is selected, you will see a display as the one above appear.

To connect, make sure your device is first connected to the Penn State WiFi or by Ethernet.  If you are a first time user, you will need to follow the instructions on the screen.  Open a web browser, connect to the displays IP address, and download the solstice app.  Finally, launch the app, select the display name, and enter the Key on the screen.

Once connected, choose what you want to share to the display.  That’s it!
