On November 5, the University will launch 25Live Pro, and updated version of 25Live!
For those of you unfamiliar with 25Live, it is the university’s scheduling system. The Libraries uses it to schedule the classrooms as well as Foster Auditorium.
how to schedule instructional classrooms in 25Live
Wednesday, November 6 10:00-11:00 a.m. in W211A Pattee
Monday, November 11 1:00-2:00 p.m. in W211A Pattee
Michelle Oliver who manages Mann and Foster and Rebecca Peterson who manages the instruction classrooms will be doing a couple of training sessions. If you’re new to 25Live, if you would like a refresher and some more information about the update, or if you would like some demonstrations on using the Resources calendars please plan on attending one of the sessions.
To get an account:
If you ever schedule the Library spaces for meetings or classes, you need an account. You can get one by following this link and then selecting “RESERVE SPACE IN 25LIVE…” That’s it! Entering
the website pings the system to create an account for you, which usually takes 24 hours. The system will not notify you when your account is verified. Simply login after 24 hours and you will be able to book rooms using 25Live.
On November 5, 25Live will be switching to a new version, 25Live Pro. Most of the updates are just in the appearance of the program, but there are some changes to the scheduling page. I’ve
updated the documentation accordingly. It’s on the Intranet on the Instructional Classrooms page.
You can also check out updated training resources on the registrar’s page.
Administration has set up several calendars listed under the Resource category in 25Live. We would like everyone to add their classes and events to the Resource calendars. I’ve included
instructions on how to use the Resource calendars in the updated instructions.
If you have any questions about the instruction rooms, don’t hesitate to reach out to Rebecca Peterson. Michelle Oliver will be able to answer any questions you have about Mann and Foster.
