The Penn State Investment Association (PSIA) is open to all students from any major or knowledge level. The organization serves in an educational capacity to both educate members and provide tools to help Penn State students succeed in pursuing careers on Wall Street. The organization also serves to educate members with an interest in personal investing.

How to Get Involved

Anyone interested in joining the Nittany Lion Fund should come out to PSIA meetings on Wednesday nights. Getting involved in PSIA is a huge step in establishing a financial career at PSU. Contact friends, peers, and students who have heard of PSIA, and bring them along.

How to Sign Up for a Sector

Anyone interested in joining the Nittany Lion Fund should come out to PSIA meetings on Wednesday nights. Getting involved in PSIA is a huge step in establishing a financial career at PSU. Contact friends, peers, and students who have heard of PSIA, and bring them along.

Dues and What They Provide

Analysts are required to pay $25.00 each semester in order to gain access to the PSIA Canvas page and numerous resources. These include Wall Street guides, each Sector’s stock pitch presentations, and many helpful materials that aid in learning and interview preparation.

First Steps

  • Attend your first Penn State Investment Association Meeting. After the meeting, join one of the 11 Sectors that is most interesting to you
  • Gain access to the Canvas page which has dozens have helpful studying guides
  • Complete weekly assignments and submit them on Canvas
  • Talk to Fund Managers about how you should be preparing for your interview with the Nittany Lion Fund

Late November on Canvas

  • Submit your resume on Canvas under the appropriate folder for interviewing
  • Make sure you have completed and submitted all weekly assingments and expressed interest in interviewing to your Sector
