It’s that time of year where everyone in classes are getting sick. Before college, I relied on my mom whenever I was sick. She always knew what to do and more importantly how to cure me. When I was packing for college, my mom made sure I had all the prescriptions I needed in case I got sick. I store it in a bin under my bed so I always know where it is. It contained a bottle of Advil, tissues, a thermometer, cough drops, cough syrup and other essentials to cure me. When you’re sick and away from home it can be daunting at first but don’t worry Penn State has resources to help you.
The University Health Center is conveniently located on campus where students can see a doctor.
