With finals slowly creeping in on us, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for some exam tips. We all know that as the semester comes to an end we get lazier by the second and procrastination takes charge. Therefore, here are a couple of tips to keep you going and save your GPA from taking tumble.
Keep Going to Class
It’s easy to rely on your unexcused absences for the end of the semester, but going to class is the easiest way to guarantee a good grade. Instead of having to hound down people for their class notes that you missed, or solely relying on the readings, you can know exactly what is going on in class by simply attending.
Do the Readings
Whenever a reading is assigned be sure to do it, instead of leaving them all until the last and having to pull an all-nighter to get through your exam.
Find a study place that feels like home
Personally, my favorite place to study is a little café down Beaver Avenue that most people haven’t even heard of. Finding a place you enjoy studying in is necessary for you to feel comfortable and be willing to spend long hours there. There are an extensive amount of locations available, on an off campus. Another personal favorite of mine is a room in the library known as the “green lantern room” or the “Harry Potter” room, which literally makes me feel like I stepped into Hogwarts.
Eat snacks that are feeling but healthy
Although junk food might seem tempting during late night study hours, if you eat that huge bag of chips instead of the grapes I guarantee you, you will feel horrible in the morning and it will tire you down. Therefore, sticking to brain food like blueberries, broccoli, and wholegrain will make studying a whole lot easier.
