2019 LionPulse Grant Funding
Thanks to funding from LionPulse, Berks campus is able to create a one-mile expansion to their already existing outdoor walking paths on campus! Along the path, users will also find interactive signage and a strategic linkage to the campus labyrinth.
This walking path will be accessible to all faculty, staff and students to encourage physical activity as well as their daily “WWAKs” (Walk with a Kinesiologist) on campus. In addition, the campus will also be launching a “Berks Walks to the Moon” challenge, where fun prizes will be offered to the student, staff, faculty and department who logs the most steps towards achieving a goal of 477,714,000 steps – the amount of steps it takes to reach the moon!
Additional campus wellness programs are listed below and in the Event Calendar.
