IST and Cybersecurity at Penn State Berks: Applying Technology to Solve Problems

March 24, 2021
12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

This LionSide Chat is part of our “Majorly Prepared Series.” Please join us for an overview of majors in the area of Information Sciences & Technology (IST), including Cybersecurity and Risk Analysis. These majors address the demand for highly skilled professionals ready to apply technology to solve problems across any area of business, organizations, and government. The combination of a strong technical foundation, well-developed communication and collaboration skills, real-world experience in an internship, and specialization in an area of choice produces graduates well-qualified to enter the IT workforce in a position that meets their interests and abilities as well as the needs of employers. We will hear from both students and alumni about their experiences in the program and in the workforce.

Majors:  IST (Information Sciences & Technology), SRA (Security & Risk Analysis), and Cybersecurity (Cybersecurity Analytics & Operations).

This LionSide Chat will be hosted by:

Professor Tricia Clark
