Accounting & Business: Because you want a job when you graduate

This LionSide Chat is part of our “Majorly Prepared Series.” A college education is one of the most significant investments an individual or family can make for a loved one. Whether a cash investment or an investment subsidized by student loans, graduates will require significant and measurable returns on their investment in education just like any other. The Penn State Berks Accounting & Business degrees provide some of the highest-yielding returns on an investment in higher education. Knowing this, students and families supporting these endeavors would be well advised to know what opportunities are afforded in an education involving accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, statistics, and other related fields.

Majors: Accounting, business: marketing, management, finance and financial services

This LionSide Chat will be hosted by:
Professor Mike Simon

Examining Supply Chains in the Midst of the Pandemic

Who gave much thought to shopping for toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and meat?  Or whether our physicians and nurses had enough gloves and masks in stock?   Now in the midst of COVID, we’re painfully aware of supply chains – how they work, why some failed.  We will examine this important topic.

This LionSide Chat will be presented by James Shankweiler, Assistant Teaching Professor – Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship

LionSide Chats: Pizza, Policy & Economic Recovery

This LionSide Chat will be presented by Lolita Paff, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Business & Economics
