I am super excited to introduce you to my new friend this week, Kendall Zerman. Recently, I joined the sorority Alpha Delta Pi. This past weekend we had big little reveal, where an older member basically takes you under their wing and is your “big sister”. Kendall is actually my big, and I am really happy about it. Kendall was the first person that I met at ADPi during sorority rush, and I connected with her right away. From the start, I always liked ADPi because of the conversations that I had with her and the other girls that rushed me. I remember that Kendall and I had so many random conversations and I felt very comfortable with her. We barely talked about basic small talk things that didn’t have any depth. We were laughing and bonding from the start.

Usually, during rush, we only get the chance to talk to the same girl once, but at ADPi I talked to the same group of girls for three out of the four rounds of rush. This is extremely rare, and I always tell people that this is the main reason why I decided to join ADPi. I know that the pairing was chosen ahead of time, but I really loved talking to these girls. Other than Kendall, I also talked to girls named Dom, Maddie, and Haley.

Once I got the official big to ADPi, I was so excited to see all of the girls I previously mentioned, especially Kendall. I talked to her on bid day, and I knew that I had found a great friend and sister. The day after bid day, Kendall had texted me right away asking to go on a sisterhood date. This basically means you go get food of coffee with one of the sisters to get to know them better. It is like speed dating for potential big littles. I met Kendall at Starbucks and we both talked alongside Kendall’s friend Marie and my friend Reilly. We were all laughing the entire time and I definitely was excited to talk to these girls more afterward.

Big little reveal is supposed to be a surprise, but I was not shocked at all to find out that it was Kendall. There were so many hints and I had no doubt that she would be standing behind the curtain. I haven’t known Kendall for too long, but I am so excited to continue getting to know her better and I love that she is my big!!
