Taylor Clayton

I’m a Penn State journalism senior minoring in English and Spanish. I’m from Pittsburgh, Pa., but I don’t use the word “yinz“ when addressing more than one person, though I do refer to carbonated drinks in a can as pop. I grew up watching Steeler football and have dressed in black and gold on Sundays for as long as I can remember.

I’ve written about Penn State women’s volleyball and wrestling through the Lions Pride Sports Blog and I was the Penn State men’s gymnastics reporter for The Daily Collegian this past spring. I love broadening my journalistic horizon as I work on my self-taught multimedia and social media skills. I was asked to join a project concerning the Network on Child Protection and Well-Being and to help translate some of its research through this blog, where I am learning as I go.
