  • 12-1pm – “Love Weaving” – Come weave with friends in a relaxing atmosphere and learn how contemporary fiber artists use textiles for data visualization and documentation. Supplies and instruction provided. In person only – Center for Virtual/Material Studies, 241 Borland. Space is limited to 15 participants. RSVP to VirtualMaterial@psu.edu
  • 2-3:30pm – Data Governance Trivia (BTAA registration link) – Join Ohio State and Penn State’s Data Governance teams to test your data knowledge!
  • 4-5pm- Telling your story through geospatial data (online registration or in-person registration – W13 Pattee Library) – This session will provide maps and geospatial resources and approaches for telling your story through geospatial data. Presented by Tara Anthony.
  • 4-5pm – Community Perspectives – Bringing it all together (BTAA registration link) – On this panel, students, faculty, and administrators will come together to discuss their shared understanding of, concerns about, and expectations for their institutions’ use of data.

Friday, February 16th

  • 2-3:30pm – BTAA Data Viz Championship Showcase (BTAA registration link) – Join us at the BTAA Data Viz Championship Showcase to witness cutting-edge data visualization entries from Big Ten Universities. Be there to discover the champion that redefines the art of data visualization!  #BTAADataViz
