Monday, February 12th

• 2pm – Strategies for Success in Survey Administration and Analysis (BTAA registration link) – Struggling with how to create a survey, manage survey fatigue, or wrangle survey data into actionable information? Our panel of experts will address these issues in a one-hour conversation.
• 4 – 5pm – Community Perspectives – Faculty experiences with data support (BTAA registration link) – on this panel, faculty members from several Big Ten institutions will provide their perspectives on and concerns about their institutions’ use of data in support of their teaching and research.

Tuesday, February 13th

• 11am – Community Perspectives – Students and Data Use (BTAA registration link) – On this panel, students from the University of Maryland and The Ohio State University will discuss their perspectives on and concerns about the institutional use of their data.
• 1-2pm – Data Viz Best Practices (Online registration) – Join us for this session to learn about the best practices for transforming your data into effective visualizations. Presented by Paulina Krys
• 3pm – Community Perspectives – Administrative Views on Ethics, Governance, and Data Use (BTAA registration link) – On this panel, data, privacy, and security leaders from across the Big Ten will provide their perspectives on when and how data should be accessed and used, as well as their concerns about the risks data can represent.

Wednesday, February 14th

• 10-11am – The Xs and Os: Athletes, Assessment, and Academic Success (BTAA registration link) – This session explores how athletics and data providers can move beyond the mandated reporting requirements and into the realm of internal assessment for program improvement and student support. 
• 12-3pm – Douglass Day celebration (PSU) – learn how to participate
• 12:15-1:15pm ET – Privacy Workshop Series – Private Bits: Privacy, Intimacy, and Consent Workshop – join us in-person (Penn State Berks Thun Library 138) or online for this hands-on, active learning experience as part of the Penn State Berks Privacy Workshop Series! Thursday, February 15th

• 12-1pm – “Love Weaving” – Come weave with friends in a relaxing atmosphere and learn how contemporary fiber artists use textiles for data visualization and documentation. • 2-3:30pm – Data Governance Trivia (BTAA registration link) – Join Ohio State and Penn State’s Data Governance teams to test your data knowledge!
• 4-5pm- Telling your story through geospatial data (online registration or in-person registration – W13 Pattee Library) – This session will provide maps and geospatial resources and approaches for telling your story through geospatial data. Presented by Tara Anthony.
• 4-5pm – Community Perspectives – Bringing it all together (BTAA registration link) – On this panel, students, faculty, and administrators will come together to discuss their shared understanding of, concerns about, and expectations for their institutions’ use of data.

Friday, February 16th

• 2-3:30pm – BTAA Data Viz Championship Showcase (BTAA registration link) – Join us at the BTAA Data Viz Championship Showcase to witness cutting-edge data visualization entries from Big Ten Universities. Be there to discover the champion that redefines the art of data visualization!  #BTAADataViz
