My primary audience for this portfolio is prospective employers. In creating this project, I kept in mind that they would be mainly concerned with my programming ability, which lead me to feature my Github page (a collection of all of my programming projects) prominently on the site. I knew that potential employers would also consider the design of my site, because user-interface design is a crucial part of software development, so I put a lot of effort into the appearance of my website. I focused on a minimalist yet aesthetically pleasing design which conveyed the necessary information without cluttering the screen with unnecessary objects.
My secondary audience for this portfolio is anyone who wants to get a sense for who I am as a person. I feel my beliefs are accurately portrayed through my writing and other projects. I also added an “About” page to talk about some of my hobbies.
