Gigi Hadid, one of the most popular celebrities today. Gigi Hadid is the daughter of a famous supermodel, is one of the highest paid supermodels, and is surrounded by A-list celebrity friends and siblings. Gigi started her modeling career when she was a toddler and is continuing to model for high fashion brands. Modelling since such an early age has introduced Gigi to numerous styles and clothes. Gigi Hadid attended her first Met Gala, as well as sister Bella’s in 2015. 

Gigi showed up to her first Met gala in a long red gown. The gown had a slit and a floral pattern on both sides, which stopped at her mid waist. She wore her hair down and curled and finished the look off with strappy red closed toed heels. 2016 was a year to remember and Gigi’s Met Gala look is still being talked about. Gigi wore a dark silver and grey dress designed by Tommy Hilfiger. The lower portion of the gown was mesh and the upper half was a silver crystal bodysuit. She wore her hair in a sleek low ponytail and huge silver rings on each finger to tie the look together. Gigi’s 2017 Met Gala look was my least favorite. She wore a unique tan colored dress. The dress was unique by containing unique materials such as silk and mesh tied together. The gown had one side made of mesh. This side was off the shoulder and had mesh falling to her feet. The other side did not contain mesh but was shorter and stopped at her mid-thigh. She wore black fishnet tights with black heels and black eyeliner. Her hair was in an updo with one side falling. This dress made Gigi look washed out, but if it had been in a distinct color, I think I would have really liked it.  

Gigi’s 2018 Met gala look was my favorite so far. It was colorful and unique yet elegant and fit the theme of the night perfectly. Gigi wore a one shoulder gown detailed with different colored crystals designed by Versace. The torso portion of the dress had a feather like design which then led to the one navy colored sleeve as well as the whole bottom of the gown. She paired this dress with simple black heels and wore her hair down with big gold earrings. Her 2019 look was interesting to say the least. Her look fit the theme of the night which was “Camp,” meaning unique and stepping out of the box. Gigi wore a white and gold colored jumpsuit that covered her from head to toe. The jumpsuit was paired with a blazer in the same colors, which had feathers near the bottom. She wore a sort of cap over her hair, as well as fake white eyelashes and crystal drop earrings. Attending the 2021 Met Gala, Gigi’s look was simple yet elegant. She wore a strapless white bustier gown with black leather gloves reaching to her elbows. She paired this with black crystal tights and simple black heels. Her hair was red, unlike other years and she wore it in a high ponytail with crystal stud earrings.   

Gigi Hadid has had a diverse range of outfits. She wears looks which are considered simple and then will wear something out of the box. Each time, she pulls the look off and has the media talking about it for months or even years. Gigi continues to model and learn about the fashion industry while also having a significant impact on fans across the world.
