Family Letter – Math

This letter was designed to be shared with one of my student’s family member’s, attached to his report card. Specifically, it focuses on the student’s mathematical success and participation throughout the classroom. It provides his family with areas that need extra attention, as well as suggestions on how to provide this student with support from outside of the classroom. Furthermore, it depicts area’s that the student truly prospers in.

Not only does this letter show my professional competence, but it provides an example of how I have fulfilled responsibilities associated with being an educator. For example, communicating with families is a crucial area of the classroom. Without a collaborative effort, it will be difficult to provide children with the most valuable educations. By focusing on this area of the classroom throughout my studies, I feel prepared to collaborate with my future student’s, their members at home and other’s associated with their overall development.
