RCL #9 Ted Talk Script

Ted Talk Script:

Introduction:

Does anyone know when is the next Victoria’s Secret Show? It is on Tuesday, November 28th. By the way, they are performing the show in Shanghai this year. Who wanted to watch that show? Well, I am pretty excited to watch all those energetic charming flesh blood walking on the shining stage. The first time I watched the show is when I was with my grandma. I liked the wings that make the models like angels; however, my grandma covered her eyes up. Just a few days ago, I was watching the show again to get some inspiration for my Ted Talk in a philosophy class. Well, I shouldn’t do this, but my friends sitting behind me find something interesting. The interesting findings could probably make up for not paying attention in the class. According to my friend, the boys sitting behind me are all staring at my computer screen. Hold for a second, why does my grandma as a woman are too shy to look at the mostly naked model while the boys have no problem at all? How can it be more obvious about the paradigm shift in the views of beauty from the past to now?

Conclusion:

Everyone could be Victoria’s Secret model in my mind. The shift in the view of beauty has moved the society to progress into a more global and diverse environment that encourages us to make a change. Stubbornly holding on to the old ideas will not do any better for you. This year, I am watching the Victoria’s Secret Show with my Grandma.
