Ian Mercer
Ian received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University. He eagerly joined the Maria group in the summer of 2024. Ian is now 2nd year PhD candidate in the group leading the efforts on exploring the rich ferroelectric landscape of AlBN sputtered thin films and developing new nitride ferroelectrics with superior switching properties.
