I know that this credo is not 250 words, but considering I have never been one for strict regulations I think it is fitting that my credo is a little rebellious.
I believe in being among the
young at heart.
I believe in all the gods –
I just don’t like some of them.
I believe war is constant –
and in contradicting myself.
I believe in fairies, elves, angels,
Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.
I have seen and heard ghosts.
I believe that science is the answer.
The threshold is numinous,
and the way in is the way out.
I believe in the numbers – all of them –
and that in the equations lay the answers.
I believe dancing is medicine for the soul, that the heart
beat invented rhythm and music –.
or is it the other way around –
I believe in the wisdom of my mother.
I believe that forgiveness saves lives
and love makes it worth living them.
And that could be the other way around, too.
