This week I ended up taking a slight “side-mission” if you will, to do some work on my webcomic. It was decided that the next course of action is to include my webcomic, World 2.0 in my portfolio. Giving it its own page and link to the website itself.
I was on the fence about doing this as I haven’t updated the comic in a good long time, but fritzcomics.com is actually a reasonable demonstration in and of itself of my abilities in graphic design, web design, and illustration. Especially given that everything on my website, was done single-handedly by me.
I took responsibility ahead of time to go back to the site’s admin account and format the pages to be uniform, so all of them, besides a few special scenic pages, read the same way.
What does this mean? I’ll probably start working (slowly) on a backlog of pages while also moving along with creating pages for my portfolio and fine tuning its appearance and functionality. It’s a lot of work to have on my plate, but when has the latter half of a spring semester NOT been jammed to the brim?
By the end of this week I hope to have the pages for my portfolio presentable, and continue to fine-tune them from there.
