This week I got new pages printed for my physical portfolio, and received my business cards. I made one final adjustment to my website: updating the resume to NOT include every bit of contact info. I realized that self-doxing would probably be more detrimental than helpful, so the resume only includes my email. Besides, if someone accessed my site through my business card, they already have my other contact details.
Everything is in place, I just need to put it all together by Wednesday for the presentation, but I’m feeling pretty good about everything. I wanted to get my webcomic back on track before the semester ended, but on top of getting the site up and running and ironing out my thesis as well as dealing with all of my other classes, I had neither the time nor the head space. I’ll have to wait until I’m done with school, but soon I will revive my creation.
In other news, when I went to get my portfolio pages printed, the manager of the print shop offered to possibly give me part-time work doing print production and graphic design, at least as a hold-over until I find a proper job.
This is my last post before graduation, I can’t believe that it’s been three years.
