Bee Better Certified website
This website is published by the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation. The site promotes the Bee Better certification, which is a third-party verified eco-label that certifies pollinator and biodiversity conservation on farms. The Bee Better Certified seal gives consumers confidence that their purchasing decisions benefit pollinators, reward conservation-minded farmers, and incentivize the incorporation of pollinator conservation into product supply chains. There are five interactive tabs at the top of the page: About, Consumers, Farmers, Supply Chain and Food Companies, and Certifiers. Each tab has a dropdown menu that users can select based on their inquiry or intended use. For example, the “About” tab includes a page on why we need bees, the company mission, documents and application materials for certification, company partners and staff, a link to their news blog, frequently asked questions, and a contact information page. The website is geared towards companies or vendors looking to be “Bee Better” certified while also educating about the importance of bees and their pollination benefits.
