This website is published by the Monarch Joint Venture based in Minnesota. The site describes the partnership of federal and state agencies, non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic programs working together to protect the monarch migration across the United States. There is a bar at the top of the home page with nine tabs: About Us, About Monarchs, Programs, Get Involved, Resources, Events, FAQ, Blog, and Donate. Each tab has a dropdown menu that users can select based on their inquiry or intended use. For example, the “About Monarchs” tab includes a page on monarch butterfly migration, life cycle, habitat needs, threats, global distribution, vital statistics and measuring, reproduction, growth and development, interactions with milkweed, annual life cycle, more than monarchs, butterfly systematics, and butterfly senses. The website aims reach the widest audience possible by educating about monarchs, providing information about current programs for involvement, ways to get involved outside of the provided programs, other resources such as webinars, and upcoming events.
